An exciting FormLogix version – The basic form editor

In this wonderful new version we have added a new form builder editor to create web
forms .
While our original form builder is an advanced WYSIWYG tool which provides flexible design using a simple drag & drop motion, the basic form editor lets you create simple forms without having to deal with the design aspects that much. In the new Basic editor all you do is construct a Pool of questions and define the Flow (sequence of questions) and the form is ready to use. You can create a basic flow by simply defining the order of questions in the pool, or you can create a compound flow which consists of several possible routes (based on the form filler's input) – this is what we call a conditional form (if the answer to question 1 is A than go to question 2, if it is B than go to question 3…).
It is a great tool for creating your web forms easily and quickly. It is also the ideal tool for creating surveys and polls.

Changes in the account access
Till now users have been able to access their accounts and data even when they had no form license or did not renew their expired license. As of September 15th 2011 this will change, allowing users .to access their inactive accounts for only 60 days. Once this 60 day period is over the account will be closed and the data in it will be deleted permanently (with no prior notice and no restoration ability).

Changes in our Trial Version & Pricing are about to take place on this upcoming Sunday, September 9th 2011.

Following are the changes details:

Trial Version
Due to reoccurring acts of spamming and phishing we have decided to limit our free trial version to 7 days and to private use only. 'private use' means that only the account owner will be able to enter data in his published forms after logging in. Once the 7-day trial period is over the forms in the account will no longer be active.

Pricing & Payment
Following many user feedbacks, we have simplified our price list and are currently offering 2 VIP subscriptions: Professional (includes everything but uploads) and Elite (contains everything, unlimited uploads included).
The new subscriptions are automatically renewed each month, providing our users with the ability to pay per month instead of paying for a fixed period in advance.

Our FormLogix website and form builder are currently down. Our hosting providers are having network issues: Upstream provider in PHX working to restore a BGP session they dropped and to mitigate a DDoS attack. Phone service is disrupted.

Design your form by adding a roll over effect

A form's design is important especially if you intend on embedding the form and making it an integral part of your web page - you want it to blend in and not stick out.
Using a form builder to create your email form you can control the web form's design easily and even make it special by placing element wherever you like, adding images and even adding a roll over effect to your email form.

Following are steps to add a roll over effect to your email form:
1- enter your form in the form creator.
2- drag a container element from the 'elements' section in the upper toolbar.
3- select the element and go to the 'element settings' on the right.
4- enter a color name or number in the 'Mouse Over Color' - for the color that will appear once the cursor hovers over the container.
5- enter a color name or number in the 'Mouse Out Color' - for the color that will appear once the cursor steps out of the container area.
6- press on 'apply'.
7- save the form.

Continues feedback form

If your feedback form is too long and will surely have a scroll if you build it in one page, you may want to consider having it cut into a few pages, thus making it a 'continues form'. Making your feedback form continues is simple. All you need to do is to create the feedback forms (pages) and then tie them all together.

Customizing the feedback form report

All forms data show by default all the fields of the form as columns. If you wish to view your feedback form 's data in a customized way and choose which fields will appear you can do so really easily using the filter terms.
